A Floral-Filled Wisconsin Farm Wedding

Skye and Chad’s farm wedding took place on their private ranch in Wisconsin, surrounded by the same land and animals that shaped their family’s life together. The property’s quiet pond, open fields, and rustic charm became the heart of their celebration. Every single element was designed to reflect the amazing beauty of where they live. Guests were welcomed into a space that felt elevated and also deeply personal. Horses grazed nearby, and the scent of fresh florals in their custom designs lingered through the tented reception.

The day captured everything that makes a Wisconsin farm wedding so special: nature’s calm, a sense of home, and design that feels distinctive. With a stunning tent reception on the farm, thoughtful florals, and details that celebrated a love for family and the land, it was an experience full of love and intention.

A Private Estate Turned Wedding Venue

What made this Wisconsin farm wedding especially meaningful was that it unfolded on Skye and Chad’s own land. Their place wasn’t just where they got married, it’s a spot that holds so many pieces of their life together. The pond where they exchanged vows, the fields where their animals roamed, and the barn that held years of memories. It all came together to create something that couldn’t be replicated anywhere else but their own home.

Horses and mules roamed in the distance while guests enjoyed cocktails, and the family dogs made their rounds, greeting everyone like old friends. The kiddos even got to feed carrots to the horses! Every view, whether across the pond or beneath the tent, felt both familiar and extraordinary. With intentional wedding celebrations such as this one, beauty often comes from the places that already hold the most meaning.

Ceremony by the Pond

Skye and Chad exchanged vows beside a quiet pond on the farm, surrounded by open fields and beautiful nature. Skye looked absolutely radiant with hair and makeup done by Just Amy Inc. She glowed as she stood for the ceremony, her daughter standing as maid of honor, and son as best man.

Her floral vision was brought to life by Life in Bloom, with gorgeous design that mirrored the property’s landscape. Shades of purple appeared throughout the ceremony décor, a nod to her favorite color and a detail that carried so much meaning. Her bouquet held lilies of the valley, chosen for their sentimental tie to her daughter. It was the perfect compliment to enhance the space that was already so woven into their story and their day.

Skye’s love for floral design was integral to what she planned for her wedding day. Good planning helps you bring your favorite moments to life just the way you imagine them! At Everlie & Co., that philosophy is what we bring to our client experience. We craft celebrations that feel deeply connected to who you are, blending creativity and intention so your vision becomes something tangible, inspired, and entirely your story.

Together, the family’s presence, florals, and the peaceful setting turned the pondside ceremony into something really special and unique! The ceremony and each moment to follow was beautifully documented by Christy Tyler Photography and Character D Films. They captured the feeling of the day in both timeless imagery and motion, and you can check out some of the wedding video here!

A Tented Reception on the Farm

As the sun set over the property, guests moved from the ceremony to a beautifully tented and elegant reception. Blue Peak Tents created a structure that blended perfectly into the landscape, while soft linens from BBJ La Tavola and curated rentals from Event Essentials Madison really brought the atmosphere to the next level. The mix of textures, lighting, and movement inside the tent made it feel like an extension of the farm itself.

The custom dance floor mirrored the patterned napkins, a playful design detail that really tied the space together. Lush greenery framed the entrance and hung above the tables, softening the tent’s lines and making the open-air setting feel intimate. The design struck the perfect balance of comfort and sophistication, showing how a tented wedding in Wisconsin can feel as refined as any ballroom, yet warm and personal to the couple who call this land home!

Personalized Details That Told Their Story

Every part of the day reflected Skye and Chad’s personalities and the life they’ve built on their farm. The animals were one of our favorite parts, main characters of the day!

Horses carried coolers of drinks during cocktail hour and the family’s dogs wandered between tables, greeting familiar faces. Each moment felt so full of life, and little reminders of why the farm was really the only venue they could’ve ever had their wedding at.

Even the paper goods carried a piece of their story: Clementine Studio illustrated watercolor portraits of their animals, which Steracle Press transformed into custom stationery that tied the entire design together. It was these kinds of refined details that highlighted their private estate wedding, making it feel welcoming, connected, and meaningful.

Comfort and Connection on the Menu

Dinner was designed to feel as thoughtful as the rest of the celebration. Food For Thought Chicago created a menu of luxurious comfort food that really brought everyone together. The evening began with a charcuterie station that encouraged mingling and conversation before guests found their seats beneath the tent.

The main course featured a perfectly seared pork chop and crispy chicken and waffles, dishes that brought a touch of warmth and nostalgia to the table. Late into the night, Wisconsin cheese curds made an appearance alongside a dessert station filled with cookies, brownies, and apple crisp skillets topped with melting ice cream. Skye’s favorite, Gigi’s Cupcakes, added an additional sweet touch with an array of beautifully decorated cupcakes. It was a welcome and generous dining experience, perfectly in spirit for a gorgeous Wisconsin farm wedding.

Evening Celebration

As night fell, the atmosphere shifted from elegant dinner to pure celebration. DJ Chris from Elegant Sound and Lighting Chicago filled the tent with nostalgic 90s R&B hits, which set the tone for a dance floor that stayed packed until the very end.

Surrounded by nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends, the family celebrated the night in a way that felt completely natural. We love getting to be a part of intimate weddings like this!
