A Chicago Wedding Planner LOVES when a couple comes to us saying ‘We want a colorful wedding, don’t hold back!’! Miranda and Jason approached Everlie & Co. before they had begun their venue search. The goal to find a venue to fit over 350 people but still feel cozy and intimate was a challenge we were excited to tackle. We landed at Theater on the Lake and saw all of the potential to transform the room.
The teams from EV Design Collective and Frost got to work transforming the venue before the couple had even woken for the day. Custom mobile’s filled the ceiling, highlighting the four completely unique table top designs.
Jess Diaz Photography began her day capturing the beauty scene while the team from Bianca Sansosti Artistry got to work.
Miranda and Jason chose to have their first look at Avondale Bowl, as they felt the retro yet contemporary vibe made them feel like they were back home in Brooklyn.
Once guests arrived at the venue, everyone was invited to witness the Kettubah signing. The Kettubah had a custom overlay created by Steracle Press to highlight all of the geometrics used through the planning process and paper goods.
The lakeside ceremony was perfectly framed by a bright red custom Chuppah which was adorned with colorful botanics and hand-painted foliage to make a larger than life impact.
Once inside, guests were greeted with an incredible pescatarian meal by Entertaining Company and musical stylings of Gold Coast All Stars.
Groom Jason even brought his music group, We Are Maurice, together for a special performance of a new song just for his brand new bride. To say the party was epic would be an understatement!
